My Enemy Enemy is the follow-up to Jane Webster's masterpiece The Long Shadow, which was first published in 1915, and was among the ten best-selling books in the United States of 1916.

Like its first part, this novel consists of a series of The letters, but this time are written by Sally McBride, best friend of Judy Abbott, who, as the reader will see from the start, I entrust her with the task of running the John Greer orphanage, in order to oversee its reform, and to undo the old policies that have made the orphanage a bleak and bleak place.

From Sally McBride's first panic to take on the task until the end of the work, the reader follows, with inspiration. And a passion, because it would be so cool, to go into the future with good hands and a good mind, for this world we are in needs a lot of hands and brains, Sally McBride way.

Jane Webster, literally Alice Webster, died eleven June 1916. She is an American novelist and author of several books, including My Long-Legged Dad and Dear Enemy.
